Dear Rev. Fr. Andrew Correia,
Christ the King Inter College has completed 46 years at the service of the nation this July. The service of 46 years has been very fruitful. However, I would not like to call it a successful journey. Success is a secular term which can be achieved with fair or unfair means. Whereas, when I say it has been a fruitful journey, I mean that Christ The King as a school, which includes Principals and teachers, both past and present, students both past and present have tried their best to make every student of this great institution good citizens of India with integrity, emotionally balanced, spiritually sound and socially conscious.
Completion of Forty six years is indeed a major milestone in the life of an educational institution. Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success, and this is what I have experienced at Christ the King during my two tenures as Principal.
Dear Parents, Teachers and students present and past, we have many things to thank God for; we have had very good results in the past, our students have done well in all spheres, we have had full cooperation from the parents , good interpersonal relations between teachers and students, teachers and parents , staff and the administration. Other educational institutions look up to us for leadership in the field of education, and innovative approaches to teaching and guidance of their students. I request you all to put your hearts and minds together to cooperate with the School administration to take Christ the King to greater heights.
